Alle Zegen Komt Van Boven Volume 1 and 2 (two tapes, Agence Des Refuses, 198?)

This is the release I wanted to upload yesterday. Part 1 worked fine, but part 2 didn't. The rapidshare link in that one may not work. 'Alle Zegen Komt Van Boven' means something like 'all blessing comes from above us', and was a highly limited double cassette on Belgium's Agence Des Refuses and features only Dutch artists - hence the title (look on a map). Some names are known such as De Fabriek, Het Zweet, Era Ora, Enno Velthuys (more on him later), Andre De Koning (from Trumpett Tapes), but there is also Operatie Lulkoek, Rotterdans, Allard Munsters and P. Winnibust. I don't have the original so no cover scans for it, and I hope I retyped the cover allright when I borrowed this from De Fabriek, I think, somwehere in 1987. Also I don't know when it was released exactly, but it's quite a nice compilation of synth music and some more experimental sounds.

De Div - Stap Voor Stap (12", Plexus, 1981)

I was planning to upload something else, but for whatever reason Massmirror has a hard time with that, so as a quick scan wether it works I uploaded this, and now I need to go to work. C'est la vie. Short 12" then for today by De Div, their first one, produced by Dick Polak from Mecano. I don't have the original so no scans.

Dutch Punk - Second Post

Following the first post I am really getting into this. Borrowed some more records and some people offered me their MP3s. Great. So this second post is all from my own collection, and all bands that only had one 7". The Squats are from my home town, I even was in the same class as the drummer. Later on he forms The Magnificent. The first release on their label was a cassette, which I no longer have.Pleemobielz are from Bruinisse. Rakketax were from Utrecht, and we'll see them later on too, on a compilation LP and 7". From close to Utrecht, Wijk bij Duurstede came Pitfall, who also had a cassette on Finger In The Dyke (which I don't have). The Workmates 7" was recorded in Berlin, when they toured there with The Ex. The final 7" for today is a compilation from Venlo, and not mentioned in 'Het Gejuich', it's one of the first releases on Limbabwe and has Iwan En De Trollen, Gøtefix, Disgust, Pandemonium, Oh Dev and Delerium and was made when a stage called VHC, a squat, was evicted. It has interviews in between with a police officer or the major.

La Sonorite Jaune - Soundtrack For Breathing Structures/Parallel Soundtracks (tape, Sinfonien Produkts, 1988)

One side has the thirty minute 'Soundtrack', whereas the six pieces on the b-side were previously release on compilations. 'Haisa' has the vocals of Barbara Fishcake of Human Head Transplant.

Narwal - Nirvana 2 (tape, De Fabriek, 198?)

The fourth and final post of the Nirvana series is very much along the lines of the releases you can find on Mutant Sounds. Since the cover has no titles for separate tracks, I left both unindexed. Side A forecasts their later work, but the b-side is still a bit experimental.

Dutch Punk - First Post

Let me start by stating I'm not a big punk man. ok? I have one foreign punk 7" and that's it. But I am big sucker for Dutch punk, especially from the scene from 1979 to 1983/4. I have quite a few of those self-released singles and LPs, which I cherish for reasons unknown. There is a nice book on Dutch punk, 'Het Gejuich Was Massaal' with quite an extensive discography. It's my aim to post the entire discography mentioned in that book (you got to have a goal in life, right?). Not that I have all of those, but a few. The ones I post today I don't have actually, except for Coitus Int (which someone else gave me as a MP3), but I borrowed all of them from my friend Red Bol, when he showed me his 7" collection. These were the ones I didn't have. A good start. There will be no order in any of this, nor any sort of regularity (it's quite an amount of work to record and separate track by track). There is probably not much to report on any of these bands, I guess. God came from Zeist and this flexi disc is their only release. Coitus Int are from Utrecht and had various releases, Dangerous Pyjamas are from the same town. BVD are from Den Haag, this is their only 7", just as Disorder from IJsselstein had one. The Chops are from Groningen and have besides this 7", some tracks on 'Punk Live In Brouwershoek', which I don't have. A great resource for Dutch punk can be found here
