Effenaar (7", compilation, 1982) / Niew Hip Stilen (7", 1981)

Effenaar is a pop/rock stage in Eindhoven and when the city existed for 750 years they gave the stage some money to produce a compilation 7". Off hand I can't think of any band from that time who would have been suitable to put on this, but certainly not the two bands on the a-side, which seem quite experimental. The b-side is more common (post-) punk. Quite a curious item. Edwin of Vovokai will later start Zombies Under Stress.
Mutant Sounds brought last week the LP by Niew Hip Stilen, here is their 7". I believe there are three cassettes by them also, so anyone who has them, please send me an e-mail (433rpm@gmail.com)

Would be interested to see if you have Niew Hip Stilen's recording at Pandora's Music Box 1983? Or any recording from Pandora's...? Thanks, Frank

Hi Madrotter, I'd love a copy of those recordings. Mail me on frankvink AT gmail DOT com if you want. Else I'll wait until it shows up on Mutant Sounds. Thanks for transferring them! Cheers, Frank
