Illusion Of Safety - Finite Material Context (2 tapes, Complancy, 1990)

More big downloads I guess, this double tape by Illusion Of Safety, which was released on their Complacency label in an edition of 150 copies in a box with several laminated inserts. Each track is by one member, except for two. This is Illusion Of Safety in their best cassette days. Great mixture of experimental, electronic and musique concrete.

Very interesting, thank you.
I've got the cd, dunno if the tracks are the same.
Thanks again.

i don't know, haven't played the cd in a while, but looking at the credits it's the complete 'fifteen' tape and a selection of 'finite' - six in total.

Thanks for all these tapes.. One of the best archival tape blogs out there.

Also, and I am not sure if this is the most appropriate place to post this, but we just re-released the Illusion of Safety tape "Repairs" on cassette. It was just released on Friday, coinciding with the IOS/Sissy Spacek show in Chicago on that day.

I figured the folks reading this blog would be interested in this. The artwork has been silkscreen printed for this reissue.

It can be purchased at our blog for 6$ or through Discogs.
