Schleimer K (LP, Omega Records, 1981)

Dr. Freakowitz mailed me this. We are both aware that this can be found elsewhere, but this new version has a much better bit rate. A great album, of minial synth music, a true classic and hy isn't this on CD? I don't know. A UK trio with Dominique Brethes, Mark Benjamin and Michael Wolfen. This was their first LP.

Worth getting for the deranged "interpretation" or détournement(if I were flexing my situationist muscles)of Canned Heat's 'On The Road' - if you thought the Rockets version was cool then check this one out.

Also worth getting the Glass Records release posted elsewhere...I would love to see the entire Glass catalogue reissued...along with Fetish and Illuminated Records...three of the best and most underated UK early 80s labels.

Huge thanks for sharing these amazing releases...this blog exudes the delirious joy of outsider/excluded/DiY music...
