Berlin Atonal (tape, Stechapfel, 1982)


recorded in 1982 this is a compilation of some great Berlin bands. This is the first edition of what became a yearly festival (best known for the Z'Ev/Psychic TV record I guess). The first time however only with German bands: Alu, Sprung Aus Den Wolken, Die Unbekannten, Borsig, Kultureller Einfluss, Einsturzende Neubauten, Ge Ming, Die Haut, Didaktische Einheit, Frieder Butzman, Notorische Reflexe.

    no didaktische einheit was a band of many persons, i don't recall how many. i used to have a great tape by them, but sadly no more. i don't think fm einheit was involved
