Debiele Eenheid - Life Is Hell (tape, Combinator Records 3, 198?)

From Rotterdam comes this craziness which they didn't record properly. Debiele Eenheid was a 'jazz punk' band from Rotterdam around the heavy Jazzbunker scene. More on that later. This tape was released by Combinator Records, and wether its this copy or the entire edition, its not the best tape quality in the world.

  5. waaahahaha!!! i once played drums with them in the old jazz bunker. the session ended in a big fight jorum was screaming like hell. those days i was crazy with all those james brown beats (this is before hip hop) and after screaming at all the band members he screamed at me AND YOU...AND YOU.... YOU NEED TO GO AND PLAY IN A DISCO BAND!!!
jorem is a great guy by the way, nowadays a cross-dressing sensation, mario who was one of the most talented musicians out of the old rotterdam punk scene is still active under the name Snowball Johhny. Frankzinnig the guitar player was a social worker last time i met him and I have no clue what happened with Ron Ondergeniep, that guy was really one of the most amazing drummers I've seen, unbelievable energy....

I've seen the DEBIELE EENHEID many, many times, Jorem had the most incredible stage acts, I remember queensday at the beurstrappen where he was totally naked only wearing a fishnet covered in chocolatepaste passers by passing by in shock. also that story where they pleyed as a supportact for herman brood in some fancy dutch club. mario put peanut butter in his ass-crack and during the show jorem ate it in front of (again) a totally shocked audience...

one of the greatest dutch punk band and i'm so happy you put this here, thanks!!!
