Omit - Alienation (tape, Deepskin Conceptual Mindmusic, 1990)
"Clinton Williams has been on a highly personal journey into sound since the late 1980's. Starting from scratch, using modified electric motors as his sole sound source, he has built up a home studio and battery of hand-made and salvaged electronic sound sources, with which to pursue his researches into the human psyche. Working in complete isolation for several years, before making contact with a few like-minded souls in other parts of the world, he has released a mass of cassettes and lathe-cut polycarbonate records on his own Deepskin Conceptual Mindmusic imprint. He has also collaborated with Bruce Russell as Dust/Omit, and Paul Toohey as Omit/K Group."
Alienation was one of his earliest releases of nice experimental electronics with a strong low-fi edge to it. More of his to come.

really good ! thank you
thanks so much for this.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS POST!!!
This is one of the few titles I didn't buy a copy of when Anomalous was selling them. The music of Omit is utterly unique & original. The K7s that were released on other labels would be wonderful posts if you have any of them.
Do you have Bad Alchemy #8 to post by any chance? Thanks again & peace.
i have various omit tapes and 7"s which i will post. i don't think i have bad alchemy tapes...

This is amazing stuff. I'd love to here any other Omit stuff like this.
like it says in the post: more to come.
Cool.
Now that I'm thinking about it, are there some other artists like this...low fi subdued soundscapes?
So far, this and Nulla Iperreale - Il Nulla Che Attira A Se are my faves in this sound neighborhood.
well, i'd say lots from the new zealand underground!
