Freedom In A Vacuum (LP, Freedom In A Vacuum, 1987)


Many labels start out with a compilation LP, at least in the 80s. Canadian label Freedom In A Vacuum did so too and found some of the best artists of the day, such as Asmus Tietchens, HNAS, Nurse With Wound, Unkommunity (of which I recently learned it has a member of Stereolab in their ranks) but also Duka Bass band, The Sodality, Psyclones/Schlafengarten and Tibetan Red, whose career started then, but only seems to continue now after a long hiatus.
